Some concept mood boards for my final major project.

The mood board was created when I was playing with the idea of the Tea Lounge becoming more of a a stylish dessert only restaurant. The large art works are to act as feature walls themselves with feature lighting positioned to add more drama as well as illuminate the art work. The eclectic furniture choices are to give a feeling of exclusivity - one of a kind style.
This second concept is for a sustainable family home. It's a lot more relaxed as it is a private space not a commercial one. There are elements of nature mixed with stylish class.
This is a final concept for the Tea Lounge. Like the dessert restaurant there is an eclectic feel only it has a slightly more relaxed and homely feel. The idea of having many pieces set out in clusters in to create intimate seating in a large space. This is also for versatility - should there be a poetry reading the room can quickly be changed around to suit that purpose.

This final concept is for the private part of the Barge - The family home. Asia was my main theme here but I didn't want to it to be completely alien to the rest of the Barge my 'clients' are the same for both sides of the boat so there was to be a small cross over in style - again it's the eclectic touch! However, here the private part of the boat there are more permanent and daring uses of colour, it's much more personal.

Upcycled interior ideas.

For my practical dissertation I have been looking at recycled design ideas.
